Lemonaide

A nonprofit organization dedicated to ending loneliness in the older generations through a host family program.

Nearly one-third of all seniors live alone, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Lemonaide has noticed the negative mental and physical effects of loneliness among the elderly and aims to help them whether they are living or feeling alone through a host family program. By connecting seniors with people in their community, they can create meaningful and long-lasting relationships which are key to reducing feelings of loneliness. The organization hopes to build a family for lonely seniors by reconnecting them with their community.
